Overview

RECOVERIT is an advanced polymer based adsorbent. It is a safe, highly effective, and efficient solution for the extraction of hydrocarbons, petrochemicals and VOC's from water, sand, and soil. RECOVERIT works in salt or fresh water and will not freeze.

" RECOVERIT IS A SORBENT MATERIAL AND CONSISTS SOLELY OF THE MATERIALS LISTED IN SECTION 300.915 (g)(1) OF THE NCP."

It is hydrophobic and oleophilic, it doesn’t mix with water (<.01%), and has an affinity to oil.
It is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and non-flammable, and also biodegradable in UV light.
Extracts and recovers hydrocarbons and holds them indefinitely until separated.
Can be re-used many times.
Recoverit filled pillows & socks are ideal for bilges and spill containment kits.

Recoverit can also be distributed below the surface and will
bring the seized oil/hydrocarbons to the surface for collection.

SurprisedDon't confuse RECOVERIT with other products! RECOVERIT was invented in Australia and has been extensively tested. It won the "Innovation Award" at SEAWORK 2006 (Southhampton,UK) for "RECOVERIT as the only oil recovery material that 'recycles the oil ' and is also reusable"

RECOVERIT is safe, easy to use, RE-USABLE, and after it reaches its life expectancy it can be used as an asphalt filler. NO DISPOSAL COSTS

Process Equipment:

The “Sand & Soil Machine”, a transportable self-contained unit for oil contaminated beaches, shorelines and Brownfields remediation which works ‘insitu’.

High volume centrifuges for separating contaminants from RECOVERIT.

CoolNEW *** Oily water filter. Separates oil and water with no moving parts other than flow of water. Great for Compressor condensate, storage tanks, or any process requiring oily water separation. Call for more details.  (Not yet approved for Marine use)
